About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and passionate WordPress Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of our website and web applications. You will work closely with designers, marketing professionals, and other team members to ensure a seamless user experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate website concepts into functional and visually appealing WordPress themes.
- Develop custom plugins and functionalities to extend the core functionalities of WordPress and meet specific client needs.
- Ensure website responsiveness and optimal performance across different devices and browsers.
- Implement best practices for SEO optimization and website security.
- Maintain existing WordPress websites, perform regular updates, and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest WordPress trends, plugins, and development best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 0-2 years of experience developing websites using WordPress.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery), and PHP.
- Experience with building custom themes and plugins using the WordPress framework.
