Software Engineer Intern

We are a leading provider of Cloud ERP for wholesale Distributors. We are looking to revolutionize the Distribution business and how distributors support the operational business by building a sophisticated service-based architecture. Our mission is to drive up operational efficiency and offer a seamless user experience to customers. We stay focussed on our core ERP Solution competency while allowing easy integration with our technology partner to provide an end-to-end solution to compete Wholesale Distribution space.

As a Software Engineer Intern at Ximple Solution, you will have an opportunity to build brand new systems, work with modern technologies, and be part of the coding culture and standards at Ximple Solution while working closely with other engineers and the product team.

The 12-week internship exposes you to all parts of software development in a fast-paced startup. You will be paired with a mentor to ensure you get the best possible experience over the summer and are prepared for a full-time engineering career.

The internship program will run for 12 weeks in Summer 2023

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with designers, product managers, other engineers across the stack, and the founding team to build and cater new features for a seamless user experience
• Own engineering projects from design and implementation through deployment and maintenance
• Solve software development challenges around performance and code reusability
• Interact with blockchain services
• Implement and own important projects for feature development and improved stability and scalability of our products

Qualification

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelors’ or Masters’s program in Computer Science or similar
• A foundational understanding of software development
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passionate about creating a great user experience
• Able to commit to working for 40 hours per week during summer 2023
